Why do Ontario riders need another sanctioning organization?
Ten Ontario motorcycle clubs felt the need to self-sanction, hence, Offroad Ontario. 

Do I need an OFTR membership to ride OO events?

No, but it is recommended that all riders belong to a club or organization such as OFTR.

What do I need to ride an OO event?
All riders must register with OO and receive a racing number.

What does it cost to register with OO?
The registration fee for 2011 is $10.00.

What is the registration fee money used for?
To help pay for AD& D insurance on the events.

How do I register?
From the opening page of this website.

Can I reserve my number and pay the registration fee later?  
No, rider number selection is only available after the fee is paid.

Can registration be done at an event?
Yes, but the fee at events will be $20.00. Online registration is recommended.

Do I need a transponder and if so how much do they cost?
Yes, scoring will be done electronically. Transponders are $40.00 to buy or $10.00 to rent.

Can I use the same transponder as WEC?
Yes.

How do I buy a transponder?
Transponders can be purchased through this website with Pay Pal or at events.

What clubs are a part of OO association?
All of the 10 clubs which are listed on the opening page of this OO website belong to Ontario Offroad.

What numbers do I need on my motorcycle to race in OO events? 
Race numbers are required only on the front of your motorcycle. These numbers also denote the individual classes. See the rules section of this website. 

I am from out-of-province; do I still have to register?
Yes, out of province riders will be required to register, have AD&D
Insurance and to have an OO number and transponder to be scored.

Are entry fees consistent and how much are they for OO events?
Entry fee is the discretion of the hosting club however it is suggested the following be a guideline: Adult rider = $50.00; second adult or child = $30.00; 

What class do I ride in OO competition?
The classes are explained in the “Classes” section of the website and are based on your previous race experience. 

Will the race order, morning and afternoon, always be the same for OO events? 
Not necessarily. Host clubs may opt to change the order but will advise prior to the event. 

Do I need a license on my motorcycle for OO events?
Licensed motorcycles are only needed for blue plate enduros, however some enduro events require a green plate, specifics of each race will be posted on the website well in advance of the event.

Do I need to have insurance on my motorcycle for OO events?
Third party insurance is only necessary for blue plate enduros, though fire and theft insurance is highly recommended. Off road insurance is necessary for other enduros the specifics of which will be posted on the website well in advance of the event 

Are the Cross Country races for OO always of two hour duration. 
The races will be no less than two hours duration but some clubs may chose to run the pro and/or expert rider class longer.

If I sign up for a class, then find out I should be in a different class, can I move?" 
You can change classes once with OO approval but not repeatedly.
